तद्ब्रूत वत्साः किमितः प्रार्थयध्वं समागताः । किमागमनकृत्यं वो ब्रूत निःसंशयं सुराः
tadbrūta vatsāḥ kimitaḥ prārthayadhvaṃ samāgatāḥ | kimāgamanakṛtyaṃ vo brūta niḥsaṃśayaṃ surāḥ
So sagt mir denn, geliebte Kinder: Was seid ihr hierher gekommen zu erbitten? Verkündet ohne Zögern, o Götter, den Zweck eures Kommens.
