सोऽब्रवीन्मां महादेवो ब्रह्माहं विष्णुरेव च । जगत्सर्वं मया वत्स संहृतं किं न बुध्यसे
so'bravīnmāṃ mahādevo brahmāhaṃ viṣṇureva ca | jagatsarvaṃ mayā vatsa saṃhṛtaṃ kiṃ na budhyase
Da sprach Mahādeva zu mir: „Ich bin Brahmā, und ich bin ebenso Viṣṇu. Mein Kind, das ganze Weltall habe ich in mich zurückgenommen — begreifst du es nicht?“
