न चासौ पक्षिराट्तस्मिन्न स्त्रियो न च देवताः । तदेवैकं स्थितं लिङ्गमर्चयन्विस्मयान्वितः
na cāsau pakṣirāṭtasminna striyo na ca devatāḥ | tadevaikaṃ sthitaṃ liṅgamarcayanvismayānvitaḥ
Doch an jenem Ort war weder der königliche Vogel noch die Frauen noch irgendwelche Gottheiten; einzig jener eine Liṅga stand dort, und ich verehrte ihn, von Staunen erfüllt.
