तिथिरद्यैव का प्रोक्ता किं पर्व कथयस्व मे । किमयं स्नाति लोकोऽयं किं वा स्नानस्य कारणम्
tithiradyaiva kā proktā kiṃ parva kathayasva me | kimayaṃ snāti loko'yaṃ kiṃ vā snānasya kāraṇam
„Welcher Tithi ist für heute verkündet worden? Welcher heilige Anlass ist es—sage es mir. Warum badet dieses Volk, und was ist der Grund dieses Bades?“
