शबर्युवाच । मात्रा पित्रा न मे कार्यं नापि स्वजनबान्धवैः । या गतिस्तव जीवेश सा ममापि भविष्यति

Transliteration

śabaryuvāca | mātrā pitrā na me kāryaṃ nāpi svajanabāndhavaiḥ | yā gatistava jīveśa sā mamāpi bhaviṣyati

Translation

Śabarī sprach: „Weder Mutter noch Vater bedeuten mir etwas, auch nicht die eigenen Verwandten und Angehörigen. Welche Bestimmung dir zuteilwird, Herr meines Lebens, dieselbe wird auch die meine sein.“
