Transliteration

haṃsakāraṇḍavākīrṇaṃ cakravākopaśobhitam | tato dṛṣṭvā sa rājendraḥ samprahṛṣṭatanūruhaḥ

Translation

Es war erfüllt von Schwänen und Kāraṇḍava-Enten und durch Cakravāka-Vögel verschönt; als der König der Könige es sah, durchströmte ihn Freude, und ihm stellten sich die Haare auf.
