Īśvara (Śiva) (deduced from immediate narrative context in Revā Khaṇḍa)
Tirtha: Revā-kṣetra forest-āśrama zone (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A youth in deer-form among a herd at dusk; the herd grazes near a forest edge while, at day’s end, the deer approaches an austere hermitage where elderly parents sit; the moment is tender and reverential.
Even amid forest-life and unusual circumstances, reverence and closeness to parents is upheld as dharma.
The Mandāraka forest region within Revā Khaṇḍa, presented as a spiritually charged wilderness-āśrama.
None; the verse describes conduct—regular returning to honor one’s parents.
