पितरस्तस्य तृप्यन्ति यावदाभूतसम्प्लवम् । श्राद्धदस्तु व्रजेत्तत्र यत्र देवो जनार्दनः

Transliteration

pitarastasya tṛpyanti yāvadābhūtasamplavam | śrāddhadastu vrajettatra yatra devo janārdanaḥ

Translation

Seine Ahnen bleiben zufrieden bis zum Ende der kosmischen Auflösung. Und wer das śrāddha darbringt, gelangt in jene Sphäre, in der der Herr Janārdana (Viṣṇu) weilt.
