सतिर्यक्पशुपक्षीकं स्वेदाण्डजजरायुजम् । एतदण्डं पुराणेषु प्रथमं परिकीर्तितम्

Transliteration

satiryakpaśupakṣīkaṃ svedāṇḍajajarāyujam | etadaṇḍaṃ purāṇeṣu prathamaṃ parikīrtitam

Translation

Daraus entstanden Tiere und Vögel und alle Wesen mit vielfältigen Geburten: aus Schweiß Geborene, aus Eiern Geborene und aus dem Mutterleib Geborene. Dieses kosmische Ei wird in den Purāṇas als das erste verkündet.
