Transliteration

hastyaśvarathasampannaḥ sarvaśastrabhṛtāṃ varaḥ | vedavidyāvratasnātaḥ sarvabhūtābhayapradaḥ

Translation

Er war ausgestattet mit Elefanten, Pferden und Wagen; der Vorzüglichste unter den Waffenträgern; geläutert durch vedische Erkenntnis und gelobte Zucht; und ein Spender der Furchtlosigkeit für alle Wesen.
