Transliteration

teṣāṃ tu stuvatāṃ bhaktyā śaṅkaraṃ jagatāṃ patim | ḍiṇḍirūpo hi bhagavāṃstadāsau pratyadṛśyata

Translation

Als sie Śaṅkara, den Herrn der Welten, in Hingabe priesen, erschien ihnen der Erhabene damals in der Gestalt eines ḍiṇḍi, einer Trommel.
