ब्रूहि मे त्वं पुरावृत्तं पितृणां तीर्थसेवनम् । चिरं नानाविधान्क्लेशान् प्राप्तास्त इति मे श्रुतम्

Transliteration

brūhi me tvaṃ purāvṛttaṃ pitṛṇāṃ tīrthasevanam | ciraṃ nānāvidhānkleśān prāptāsta iti me śrutam

Translation

Berichte mir die uralte Begebenheit vom Aufsuchen der Tīrthas, der heiligen Furten, durch meine Vorfahren. Ich habe gehört, dass sie lange Zeit vielerlei Mühsal erduldeten.
