भित्त्वार्णवं तोयमथान्तरस्थं विवेश पातालतलं क्षणेन । जले निमग्नां धरणीं समस्तां समस्पृशत्पङ्कजपत्रनेत्राम्
bhittvārṇavaṃ toyamathāntarasthaṃ viveśa pātālatalaṃ kṣaṇena | jale nimagnāṃ dharaṇīṃ samastāṃ samaspṛśatpaṅkajapatranetrām
Er spaltete die Wasser des Ozeans und drang in sein Inneres; in einem Augenblick erreichte er den Grund von Pātāla. Dort berührte er die ganze Erde, im Wasser versunken—die Erde mit Augen wie Lotusblätter, lieblich und strahlend.
