तदा देवं नमस्कृत्वा रक्ष रक्षस्व चाब्रवीत् । वध्यमानं महादेवो भृगुणा परमेष्ठिना
tadā devaṃ namaskṛtvā rakṣa rakṣasva cābravīt | vadhyamānaṃ mahādevo bhṛguṇā parameṣṭhinā
Da verneigte er sich vor dem Gott und rief: „Schütze mich, rette mich!“ Als er getötet wurde, erblickte Mahādeva (Śiva) ihn, verfolgt von Bhṛgu, dem höchsten Herrn (Parameṣṭhin).
