स्मृतिवेदपुराणेषु यदुक्तं तत्तथा भवेत् । इति निश्चित्य तं विप्रमुवाच प्रहसन्निव

smṛtivedapurāṇeṣu yaduktaṃ tattathā bhavet | iti niścitya taṃ vipramuvāca prahasanniva

„Was in den Smṛtis, den Veden und den Purāṇas gesagt ist, muss wahrlich so sein.“ So entschlossen sprach er zu jenem Brāhmaṇa, gleichsam lächelnd.
