Transliteration

māse māse site pakṣe'māvāsyāyāṃ yudhiṣṭhira | snātvā tatra vidhānena tarpayetpitṛdevatāḥ

Translation

Monat für Monat, am Neumondtag (amāvāsyā) der hellen Hälfte, o Yudhiṣṭhira, soll man, nachdem man dort vorschriftsgemäß gebadet hat, den Pitṛs und den Gottheiten tarpaṇa darbringen.
