सतां गेहे किल प्राप्ता भवतां चापकारिणी । सामेनातिथिपूजायां शिष्टे च गृहमागते

satāṃ gehe kila prāptā bhavatāṃ cāpakāriṇī | sāmenātithipūjāyāṃ śiṣṭe ca gṛhamāgate

„Wahrlich, ich bin in das Haus der Tugendhaften gelangt, und doch habe ich mich euch gegenüber als Übeltäterin erwiesen. Obwohl ihr mich mit sanfter Höflichkeit empfangen, mich als Gast geehrt habt und ihr gebildete Hausherren seid, habe ich euch Unrecht vergolten.“
