pramathānāṃ ninādena kalkalena ca bandinām | yasmātpratiṣṭhitaṃ liṅgaṃ tasmājjātaṃ tadākhyayā

Translation

Weil der Liṅga inmitten des Gebrülls der Pramathas und des lärmenden Rufens der Barden errichtet wurde, wurde er nach eben diesem Klang benannt: Kalkaleśvara.
