अङ्गारकेण राजेन्द्र पुरा तप्तं तपः किल । अर्बुदं च निखर्वं च प्रयुतं वर्षसंख्यया
aṅgārakeṇa rājendra purā taptaṃ tapaḥ kila | arbudaṃ ca nikharvaṃ ca prayutaṃ varṣasaṃkhyayā
O Bester der Könige, man sagt, dass Aṅgāraka einst dort Tapas, strenge Askese, übte — wahrlich über unermessliche Zeiträume von Jahren: ein Arbuda, ein Nikharva und ein Prayuta an Zahl.
