तीर्थदानोपवासानां यज्ञैर्देवद्विजार्चनैः । अवाप्तिर्जायते पुंसां श्रद्धया परया नृप

tīrthadānopavāsānāṃ yajñairdevadvijārcanaiḥ | avāptirjāyate puṃsāṃ śraddhayā parayā nṛpa

O König, die wahre Frucht von Pilgerfahrten, Gaben, Fasten, Opfern (yajña) und der Verehrung von Göttern und Brāhmaṇas entsteht bei den Menschen allein durch höchste Glaubenskraft (śraddhā).
