tamāsādya vimucyante ye'pi syuḥ pāpayonayaḥ | śivamarcya nadīkūle jāyante te na yoniṣu
Wer jenen heiligen Ort (Śiva) erreicht, wird befreit, selbst wenn er aus sündhaften Geburten stammte. Nachdem man Śiva am Flussufer verehrt hat, wird man nicht mehr in gewöhnliche, mutterleibgebundene Existenzen geboren.
