Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 27
परित्राहि महाभाग न यथा याम संक्षयम् । ततः संचिन्त्य मनसा त्वरन्विप्रानथाब्रवम्
paritrāhi mahābhāga na yathā yāma saṃkṣayam | tataḥ saṃcintya manasā tvaranviprānathābravam
„Beschütze uns, o Begnadeter, damit wir nicht dem Untergang entgegengehen.“ Dann, nachdem ich in meinem Geist nachgedacht hatte, sprach ich eilends zu den Brahmanen.
