Transliteration prá manmahe śavasānā́ya śū́ṣam āṅgū́ṣaṃ girváṇase aṅgirasvát | suvṛ́ktibhi stuvatá ṛgmiyā́yārcā́mārkáṃ náre víśrutāya
Translation Wir richten den Sinn auf die Kraft für den Mächtigen; ein Lied für den, der sich an Gesängen erfreut, nach Art der Aṅgiras. Mit wohlgefügten Lobpreisungen, ihn preisend, der der ṛc würdig ist, wollen wir ein Lichtlied singen dem weithin gerühmten Helden.
