Samhita Patha (Devanagari) सु॒प॒र्णं व॑स्ते मृ॒गो अ॑स्या॒ दन्तो॒ गोभि॒: सन्न॑द्धा पतति॒ प्रसू॑ता । यत्रा॒ नर॒: सं च॒ वि च॒ द्रव॑न्ति॒ तत्रा॒स्मभ्य॒मिष॑व॒: शर्म॑ यᳪसन्
Transliteration suparṇáṃ vaste mṛgó asyā́ dánto góbhíḥ sannaddhā́ patati prasūtā́ | yátrā nárāḥ sáṃ ca ví ca drávanti tátrāsmábhyam íṣavaḥ śárma yaṃsan ||
Translation Schönbeflügelt trägt sie ihr Gewand; ihr Zahn ist wie der eines Wildtiers; mit Kühen ist sie angeschirrt, und angetrieben fliegt sie dahin. Wo die Männer zusammenlaufen und wieder auseinanderstieben, dort mögen die Geschosse uns Schutz und Zuflucht gewähren.
