पञ्चकृत्यलक्षणनिर्णयः

Definition of Śiva’s Five Cosmic Acts—Pañcakṛtya

आद्रा र्समः सदा ज्ञेयः पूजाहोमादितर्पणे । दर्शनं तु प्रभाते च प्रातःसंगवकालयोः

ādrā rsamaḥ sadā jñeyaḥ pūjāhomāditarpaṇe | darśanaṃ tu prabhāte ca prātaḥsaṃgavakālayoḥ

Für Pūjā, Homa (Feueropfer) und Tarpaṇa (Wasserspende) soll man stets wissen, dass die rituell passende Zeit die feucht-kühle Periode ist. Für das glückverheißende Darśana Śivas jedoch eignen sich die Morgenstunden: die frühe Dämmerung und der Vormittag.
