It declares that steady, daily worship of Śiva, grounded in authentic guru-transmitted instruction, leads directly to Śiva-sāyujya (liberation through union with the Lord), emphasizing certainty of Śiva’s grace and the transforming power of disciplined bhakti.
The verb arcayet (“should worship”) points to regular ritual reverence—classically expressed as Liṅga-arcana (water, bilva, mantra, and offerings) to Saguna Śiva—through which the devotee is led to the highest realization of Śiva (Pati) and freedom from bonds (pāśa).
Daily Śiva-arcana under a guru’s guidance—such as Liṅga-pūjā with Panchākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), optionally supported by bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa—performed consistently as a vow-like discipline.
