कृष्ण उवाच । भगवन्परमेशस्य शर्वस्यामिततेजसः । मूर्तिभिर्विश्वमेवेदं यथा व्याप्तं तथा श्रुतम्
kṛṣṇa uvāca | bhagavanparameśasya śarvasyāmitatejasaḥ | mūrtibhirviśvamevedaṃ yathā vyāptaṃ tathā śrutam
Kṛṣṇa sprach: „O Seliger! Ich habe vernommen, dass dieses ganze Universum, genau wie es gesagt wird, von den mannigfachen Gestalten Śarvas (des Herrn Śiva), des höchsten Herrn von unermesslichem Glanz, durchdrungen ist.“

It affirms Śiva as Parameśvara—immeasurably radiant and all-pervading—whose presence is not confined to a single place or icon but manifests through countless forms throughout the cosmos, guiding the seeker toward recognition of Pati (the Lord) as the inner reality of all.
By stating that the universe is pervaded by Śiva’s “mūrtis,” the verse supports Saguna worship (approaching Śiva through forms such as Liṅga and other manifestations) while implying the deeper truth that these forms point to an all-pervading Supreme beyond limitation.
A practical takeaway is Śiva-anusandhāna (contemplation of Śiva’s presence everywhere): while chanting the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” meditate that all names and forms are permeated by Śiva, strengthening devotion and inwardness leading toward liberation.
