हुत्वाहुत्वा स्पृशेल्लिंगं वेदिकां च पुनः पुनः । पूर्णाहुतिं ततो हुत्वा क्रमाद्दद्याच्च दक्षिणाम्
hutvāhutvā spṛśelliṃgaṃ vedikāṃ ca punaḥ punaḥ | pūrṇāhutiṃ tato hutvā kramāddadyācca dakṣiṇām
Nachdem man wieder und wieder Opfergaben dargebracht hat, soll der Verehrer den Śiva-Liṅga und die Vedikā immer erneut berühren. Dann, nach der Darbringung der Pūṛṇāhuti (Schlussopfergabe), gebe er der Reihe nach die vorgeschriebene Dakṣiṇā (Priesterhonorar).

Significance: Frames homa/arcana as Śiva-prasāda-oriented karma: correct completion (pūrṇāhuti) and giving dakṣiṇā purify intention and support the śaiva-yajña, yielding puṇya and eligibility (adhikāra) for higher worship.
It teaches that devotion must be joined with right order (krama): repeated offerings, reverent contact with the liṅga (saguna focus for the mind), completion through pūrṇāhuti, and humility through dakṣiṇā—actions that purify the pashu (bound soul) and orient it toward Pati (Śiva).
By instructing repeated touching of the liṅga and the altar during the rite, it emphasizes the liṅga as the accessible, consecrated support (ālambana) for meditation and bhakti—Saguna Śiva worship that steadies attention and sanctifies action.
It points to a liṅga-centered homa performed by rule: repeated āhutis, concluding with pūrṇāhuti, followed by giving dakṣiṇā; as a meditative takeaway, maintain steady remembrance of Śiva (often with the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) throughout the sequence.
