Durch sein eigenes, angeborenes Strahlen vermochte er selbst Berge—Meru und die übrigen—zu durchdringen. Er leuchtete wie geschmolzenes Gold, und seine Augen glichen den Blättern eines hundertblättrigen Lotus.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
Offering: pushpa
It praises the divine tejas (spiritual radiance) of Shiva’s manifestation—an energy so pure that it transcends material resistance, symbolizing the Lord as Pati whose consciousness alone liberates the bound soul (paśu) from pāśa.
The imagery of molten-gold brilliance and lotus-like eyes supports Saguna contemplation: devotees may visualize Shiva’s auspicious form or the luminous presence within the Linga as a focus for devotion that leads the mind toward the Nirguna reality beyond form.
Dhyāna on Shiva’s golden radiance while repeating the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) is implied; the verse encourages internalizing tejas through steady japa and yogic concentration rather than relying only on external strength.
