अनन्तकांतिसंपन्न जयासदृशविग्रह । अतर्क्यमहिमाधार जयानाकुलमंगल
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: अनन्तकांतिसंपन्न जयासदृशविग्रह । अतर्क्यमहिमाधार जयानाकुलमंगल
Type: stotra
It praises Shiva as the infinite, self-luminous Pati whose glory transcends logic; meditating on such “atarkya mahimā” turns the mind from limited concepts to devotion and inner stillness that supports moksha.
Though Shiva is ultimately beyond thought, the verse honors His accessible Saguna aspect—“form like Victory”—which devotees contemplate in the Linga as a stable support for bhakti and dhyāna.
Use this as a stuti before japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), offering bilva leaves or water to the Linga, and then meditate on Shiva’s boundless radiance (ananta-kānti) as the heart’s inner light.
