It highlights that sincere daily worship can be directed toward revered divine forms, and that the Supreme is approached through manifest (saguṇa) forms—here emphasizing harmony between Vaiṣṇava devotion and the Shaiva vision of Sadāśiva as the highest reality.
The verse supports saguṇa upāsanā (worship with form): just as the Liṅga is a sacred, accessible focus for the formless Pati (Śiva), so too images of Viṣṇu or Sadāśiva serve as devotional supports leading the devotee toward the transcendent.
The key practice is nitya-pūjā (daily worship) with a consecrated form and a proper seat/āsana; in Shaiva usage this is typically paired with mantra-japa (e.g., Pañcākṣarī) and disciplined devotional routine.
