Dann soll man rings um die zentrale Gottheit diese Gottheiten der Reihe nach im dritten Umkreis verehren. Oder aber soll man im zweiten Umkreis die Zwölf Ādityas verehren.

Cosmic Event: Solar theology integrated as Dvādaśa Ādityas (twelvefold sun) mapped onto a maṇḍala enclosure, expressing regulated cosmic order under Śiva.
It teaches that Shiva-worship is performed with sacred order (krama) and wholeness—honoring the cosmic powers around the Lord while keeping Shiva as the center (Pati), thereby harmonizing the devotee’s inner and outer worlds.
The verse assumes an āvaraṇa-pūjā pattern around the Liṅga/Saguna Shiva: the central presence is worshiped along with surrounding enclosures, showing that the manifest Lord is approached through a structured mandala of divine functions.
It indicates āvaraṇa-pūjā (enclosure worship) with sequential offerings; as an inner practice, it supports meditating on Shiva at the center while contemplating the Twelve Ādityas as regulated energies in the surrounding circuit.
