Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Cosmic Event: sṛṣṭi–pralaya cycle (periodic dissolution)
It declares Shiva as Pati—the absolute Lord who alone performs creation and dissolution and who is not governed by any higher principle; realizing this sovereignty leads the seeker from bondage (pāśa) toward liberation.
The Linga symbolizes the one Lord beyond limitation who still becomes worship-accessible; honoring the Linga as the ruler of all functions (sṛṣṭi and saṃhāra) trains the mind to see every power as Shiva’s manifestation.
Meditate daily on Shiva as the inner governor while repeating the Panchakshara ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya"), offering the sense of doership into Him; this supports detachment and steadiness in yoga and bhakti.
