उपमन्युरुवाच । अत्याश्चर्यमिदं कृष्ण शंभोरमितकर्मणः । आज्ञाकृतं शृणुष्वैतच्छ्रुतं श्रुतिमुखे मया

upamanyuruvāca | atyāścaryamidaṃ kṛṣṇa śaṃbhoramitakarmaṇaḥ | ājñākṛtaṃ śṛṇuṣvaitacchrutaṃ śrutimukhe mayā

Upamanyu sprach: „O Kṛṣṇa, dies ist höchst erstaunlich – in Bezug auf Śambhu, dessen Taten unermesslich sind. Höre von dieser Tat, die in Gehorsam gegenüber Seinem Befehl vollbracht wurde und die ich aus dem Munde der Veden selbst vernommen habe.“
