भक्ताधिकारि-द्विजधर्म-योगिलक्षणवर्णनम् / Duties of Qualified Devotees and Marks of Yogins
ईश्वर उवाच । अथ वक्ष्यामि देवेशि भक्तानामधिकारिणाम् । विदुषां द्विजमुख्यानां वर्णधर्मसमासतः
īśvara uvāca | atha vakṣyāmi deveśi bhaktānāmadhikāriṇām | viduṣāṃ dvijamukhyānāṃ varṇadharmasamāsataḥ
Īśvara sprach: „Nun, o Devēśī — Herrin der Götter — werde Ich kurz die rechte Befähigung und die Pflichten darlegen: die der Verehrer, die für diesen Weg geeignet sind, und besonders die der Gelehrten, der Vornehmsten unter den Zweimalgeborenen, gemäß den Grundsätzen von varṇa und dharma.“
