सत्रप्रवृत्तिः — वायोः आगमनं च
Commencement of the Satra and the Arrival of Vāyu
मुनय ऊचुः । अद्य नः कुशलं सर्वमद्य साधु भवेत्तपः । अस्मच्छ्रेयोभिवृद्ध्यर्थं भवानत्रागतो यतः
munaya ūcuḥ | adya naḥ kuśalaṃ sarvamadya sādhu bhavettapaḥ | asmacchreyobhivṛddhyarthaṃ bhavānatrāgato yataḥ
Die Weisen sprachen: „Heute ist bei uns alles heil; heute hat unsere Askese (tapas) wahrhaft gute Frucht getragen, denn du bist hierher gekommen, um unser höchstes Wohlergehen zu mehren.“

It teaches that tapas (disciplined spiritual effort) reaches fulfillment when it leads to satsanga—meeting a worthy teacher or narrator—because such contact increases śreyas, the highest spiritual good oriented toward Shiva-realization.
