पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow

विभृज्यांगानि मूर्धादिचरणांतानि तैस्स्पृशेत् । ततस्तेन क्रमेणैव समुद्धृत्य च भस्मना

Transliteration

vibhṛjyāṃgāni mūrdhādicaraṇāṃtāni taisspṛśet | tatastena krameṇaiva samuddhṛtya ca bhasmanā

Translation

Nachdem er die Glieder vom Scheitel bis zu den Füßen gereinigt hat, soll er sie mit jenem (reinigenden Stoff) berühren. Dann soll er in derselben Reihenfolge die heilige Asche (bhasma) aufnehmen und auftragen, Schritt für Schritt.
