पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow

शक्तिश्च शिवतत्त्वं च तत्त्वानि क्रमशो विदुः । मन्त्रैस्तु विरजैर्हुत्वा होतासौ विरजा भवेत्

śaktiśca śivatattvaṃ ca tattvāni kramaśo viduḥ | mantraistu virajairhutvā hotāsau virajā bhavet

Sie erkennen die Tattvas in rechter Reihenfolge—beginnend mit Śakti und gipfelnd im Prinzip Śivas. Doch wenn man die Opfergaben mit makellosen (viraja) Mantras darbringt, wird der Opfernde selbst makellos, befreit vom Makel des rajas.
