The Supreme Lord as the Uncaused Cause

It teaches that Śiva’s grace (anugraha) is not mechanical or bound to a rigid order; it manifests in a form suited to the seeker’s inner readiness (yogyatā), guiding the soul toward purification and ultimately moksha.
Linga and saguna worship are compassionate, accessible forms of Śiva’s grace. This verse implies that as devotion and purity mature, the same Śiva responds with deeper guidance—moving the devotee from outer worship toward inner realization without denying the value of either.
Cultivate yogyatā through steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), disciplined vrata and pūjā, and yogic inner purification; grace then naturally unfolds in the form most beneficial to the practitioner.
