Gaurī’s Entry and the Vision of Śiva

Lord Shiva (in a non-dual Shaiva Siddhanta framing: Pati affirming inseparability with Shakti/consort for the world’s continuity)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Ardhanārīśvara
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: creative
Cosmic Event: Cosmic non-separation asserted as condition for continued existence of carācarajagat (moving and unmoving).
It teaches that separation (bheda-buddhi) breeds conflict in worldly life, but the divine principle (Pati with Shakti) is intrinsically non-separate; the universe depends on that unity for its very existence.
The Linga signifies the undivided reality of Shiva, while its worship commonly includes Shakti (Āvaraṇa/Śakti-tattva) implicitly—reminding devotees that cosmic manifestation and grace arise from Shiva’s inseparable power, not from dualistic division.
Meditate during japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) on the dissolution of ‘I and mine’ and on Shiva-Shakti as one reality sustaining all beings; let this reduce inner conflict and strengthen devotion and steadiness in worship.
