Śiva’s Boon to Viśvakarman and the Manifestation of Devī

सर्वं जगदिदं चैषा संमोहयति मायया । ईश्वरात्सैव जाताभूदजाता परमार्थतः
sarvaṃ jagadidaṃ caiṣā saṃmohayati māyayā | īśvarātsaiva jātābhūdajātā paramārthataḥ
Diese Māyā selbst betört das ganze Universum durch ihre Illusionskraft. Man sagt, sie sei aus dem Herrn hervorgegangen, doch in der höchsten Wahrheit ist sie ungeboren.

Linga-worship and Saguna Shiva devotion give the mind a pure support to cross delusion: by fixing awareness on Shiva’s form, name, and presence, the seeker loosens Māyā’s confusion and turns toward Shiva, who is beyond Māyā yet graciously approachable through worship.
Regular japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with steady dhyāna on Shiva, supported by Shaiva disciplines like Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa, is a practical means to reduce Māyā’s delusion and cultivate Shiva-oriented knowledge.
