Questions on Rudra’s Supremacy and His ‘Sonship’ to Brahmā
Brahma (inferred, Vāyavīya philosophical narration style addressing Shiva)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It teaches that all beings arise through Shiva’s supreme source, and that liberation-oriented grace (prasāda) is primarily awakened by sincere bhakti toward Pati (Shiva), not merely by status or power.
By emphasizing “prasāda through devotion,” it supports Saguna worship—approaching Shiva through a tangible focus such as the Śiva-liṅga—where heartfelt reverence invites Shiva’s compassionate response.
Cultivate bhakti through regular Śiva-liṅga pūjā with Panchākṣarī japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), seeking prasāda with humility; this inner devotion is the core practice implied.
