Discourse on Manvantaras, Kalpas, and Re-creation

It points to a key Shaiva idea: the Lord’s ‘sleep’ is not tamas or ignorance, but Śiva-yoga—still, luminous inward absorption. The Siddhas’ añjali shows that even perfected beings approach divine yogic states with devotion and reverence.
The verse emphasizes Saguna Shiva as the accessible Lord who can be contemplated in a definite state—yogic repose/samadhi. In Linga-worship, the devotee similarly approaches the Lord through focused dhyāna and bhakti, honoring His presence as the Pati who grants grace and liberation.
It suggests dhyāna on Shiva’s yogic stillness (samadhi-like absorption) along with bhakti expressed through añjali. Practically, one may sit in meditation, repeat the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and cultivate steady inner repose while offering reverence.
