ततः सिंहो बभूवाशु मायावी तच्छिरोम्बिका । यावद्भिनत्ति तावत्स खङ्गपाणिर्बभूव ह
tataḥ siṃho babhūvāśu māyāvī tacchirombikā | yāvadbhinatti tāvatsa khaṅgapāṇirbabhūva ha
Dann wurde er durch die Macht der Māyā sogleich zu einem Löwen, und Ambikā schlug nach seinem Haupt. Doch solange sie ihn zerschmetterte, erschien er — das Schwert in der Hand — immer wieder von neuem.
