Arjuna’s Mantra-Empowerment and the Pāṇḍavas’ Separation (Śiva-rūpa through Mantra)
एतद्वीर जपं कर्तुं न शक्तः कश्चनाधुना । वर्तते हि शिवोवर्यस्तस्माच्छम्भोर्जयोऽ धुना
etadvīra japaṃ kartuṃ na śaktaḥ kaścanādhunā | vartate hi śivovaryastasmācchambhorjayo' dhunā
O Held, in diesem Zeitalter vermag niemand, dieses heldenhafte Japa in seiner vollen Kraft zu vollziehen. Denn der erhabenste Śiva selbst ist gegenwärtig als höchster Zufluchtsort; darum gehört der Sieg Śambhu, selbst jetzt.

By affirming that Śiva is ‘present’ now, it supports Saguna worship—approaching Śiva through accessible forms such as the Śiva-liṅga, name, and mantra—where victory (spiritual overcoming) comes through living connection, not merely austere capability.
