It teaches that harmony and freedom from inner sorrow arise when one accepts one’s rightful portion and follows dharma; such disciplined acceptance purifies the mind, making it fit for devotion to Pati (Shiva).
By emphasizing obedience, clarity, and grieflessness, the verse points to the inner preparedness required for Saguna Shiva worship—approaching the Linga with a steady, non-agitated mind and a dharmic life.
The practical takeaway is cultivation of aviṣāda (freedom from dejection) through daily japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and disciplined conduct aligned with one’s duty.
