इति निश्चित्य मनसा समुज्ज्वाल्य हुताशनम् । तमाहूय द्विजं चक्रे पत्नीदानं सहोदकम्

iti niścitya manasā samujjvālya hutāśanam | tamāhūya dvijaṃ cakre patnīdānaṃ sahodakam

So fasste er im Herzen den Entschluss, entfachte das heilige Opferfeuer; dann rief er den zweimalgeborenen Priester herbei und vollzog den Ritus der Kanyādāna, die Hingabe der Tochter zur Ehe, samt der vorgeschriebenen Wasserspende.
