यः पूर्वं वर्णितस्तात भद्रायुर्नृपसत्तमः । यस्मिन्नृषभरूपेणानुग्रहं कृतवाञ्छिवः

yaḥ pūrvaṃ varṇitastāta bhadrāyurnṛpasattamaḥ | yasminnṛṣabharūpeṇānugrahaṃ kṛtavāñchivaḥ

O lieber Sohn, jener Bhadrāyu—der Beste unter den Königen—von dem zuvor berichtet wurde, ist derselbe, dem Śiva einst, in der Gestalt des Stieres Ṛṣabha, sein mitleidvolles Gnadenwalten schenkte.
