Shloka 31

दुर्वाससः तपः-प्रभावः तथा देवाः ब्रह्म-विष्ण्वोः शरणागमनम् | Durvāsā’s Tapas and the Devas’ Appeal to Brahmā and Viṣṇu

एकादश्या व्रतं कृत्वा द्वादश्यां चैव पारणाम् । करिष्यामीति सुदृढसंकल्पस्तु नराधिपः

ekādaśyā vrataṃ kṛtvā dvādaśyāṃ caiva pāraṇām | kariṣyāmīti sudṛḍhasaṃkalpastu narādhipaḥ

Nachdem er das Gelübde am Ekādaśī gehalten hatte und beabsichtigte, am Dvādaśī das rechte Pāraṇa (das Fastenbrechen) zu vollziehen, fasste der König, Herr der Menschen, einen unerschütterlichen Entschluss: „Gewiss werde ich es tun.“
