गृहस्थ-जीवनसंस्काराः तथा पुत्रजन्म-शुभलक्षणवर्णनम् / Household Saṃskāras and the Auspicious Portents of a Son’s Birth
इति स्तुवन्तस्तेन्योन्यं सम्प्रहृष्टतनूरुहः । विश्वानरं समापृच्छ्य जग्मुः सर्वे यथागतम्
iti stuvantastenyonyaṃ samprahṛṣṭatanūruhaḥ | viśvānaraṃ samāpṛcchya jagmuḥ sarve yathāgatam
So priesen sie (Śiva) und erfreuten einander—die Körperhaare standen ihnen vor bhaktischer Verzückung zu Berge. Nachdem sie von Viśvānara Abschied genommen hatten, gingen alle fort und kehrten, wie sie gekommen waren, jeder an seinen Ort zurück.

Sthala Purana: Departure-after-darśana is a common tīrtha narrative cadence: devotees praise, take leave of the host/guardian figure, and return transformed; here Viśvānara functions as the immediate social pivot for the group’s exit.
Significance: Models proper closure of pilgrimage/ritual encounter: kīrtana/stuti, mutual uplift, respectful leave-taking, and return to svadharma with bhakti-saṃskāra (devotional imprint).

It highlights the classic mark of mature bhakti—inner joy and outward signs like horripilation—showing a heart touched by Śiva’s grace (anugraha) and returning to worldly duties without losing devotion.
The verse depicts devotees completing praise and then respectfully taking leave, reflecting the devotional arc of Saguna worship: darśana/stuti (adoration) followed by a mindful return, keeping Śiva present in remembrance beyond the ritual moment.
Conclude stuti or japa with a brief moment of silent gratitude and formal leave-taking (visarjana-bhāva), then carry the remembrance of Śiva—supported by Panchākṣarī japa or Tripuṇḍra—into daily life.
